Light is often depicted with wings to suit his delusions of grandeur, which I find rather fitting as L observes him like a particularly interesting specimen pinned to a board.
For anyone curious what this piece was based upon;
L stumbles forward, eyes going wide as he loses his balance and falls to his knees. For the first time since they’ve known each other, L looks annoyed. His eyes narrow and he frowns.
Light’s head had fallen back to the floor, panting through the faintest of smirks. His enlivened stare was canted in L’s knelt direction, reveling in that look of equal irritation.
A laugh bubbled up between breaths, semi-delirious from both the triumph and near-dire exhaustion.
